course, it's illegal to be a cheatah in maine. but that's not the point. the point is that this breaks the unspoken rules we've been following of "back and forth" posting. but rules suck ass anyway. and besides, i kinda fucked up that last entry by not doing my part in the five song exchange. so let me use this time to right a terrible wrong, and hopefully the whole "double-blog-gate" scandal can just be a thing of the past. i don't know what kind of press this is getting, but i'm sure it's negative. well, i'll bet the cheetah lobby's pissed, anyway.
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - Genesis (when they didn't suck)
Caravan - Chet Atkins and Les Paul
To Be Young (Is to be Sad, Is to be High) - Ryan Adams
Stormy Monday - Allman Brothers Band
Hits from the Bong - Cypress Hill
i know some of the stuff i've been going after is a little old school (thanks for getting miles davis for me), and i'm trying to avoid anything that's lived on the radio for too long, but we'll correct a lot of that when we edit the first day's tracks i'm sure. also, if you don't have caravan, you need to hear it. the men are gods. and if it wasn't for you i would never have heard adams. we'll need to play the whole first record at some point, it's all over the fuckin' map. oh, the blog entry's over isn't it? shit. uhm, okay ... then ... ah ... Hey! There's Jesus! Look! ... (sneak, sneak, sneak)
